![]() I fell for glass many years ago, but it was my photography that led me to flame work. Looking for a good base to create wearable images I decided to make glass pendants. I took a class and came home with a few rods of glass, a torch and the obsession to make the perfect base. What I didn’t plan on was falling in love with glass and leaving photography by the wayside. I love to experiment. I collect and use vintage glass, never to be repeated colors and the latest shades manufacturers have to offer. I try the latest techniques. I love to learn from my mistakes and explorations. I enjoy being a scientist, inventor and innovator in my own basement. Inspired by my gardens and fashion I strive to create beads that are beautiful and keep jewelry designers excited. My style is often described as dreamy, soft and serene. I find pleasure in the simple properties of glass and frequently showcase a quality. Sometimes it is the play of light, sometimes it is a combination of colors and sometimes I show you the bold strength of a single glass. |
